Identifying the Client Needs

With the expanding smartphone user base in India and Indonesia, the potential for mobile technology in healthcare grew significantly. However, concerns about the quality, reliability, security, and privacy of health apps hindered patient adoption. Healthcare providers faced challenges like lack of interoperable patient records, patient no-shows, last-minute appointment cancelations, etc. Docquity emerged to address these issues, empowering patients and caregivers with a secure teleconsultation app. Docquity aims to transform healthcare by giving users greater control over their health journey, ensuring reliability and security in every interaction.


Client Goals

Our client's primary goal with Docquity was to narrow the healthcare service gap between care providers and patients in suburban and rural areas of India and Indonesia using teleconsultation infrastructure. To achieve this, our client aimed to develop a comprehensive app with features including:

Mobile Visual Designs

Our UI/UX team developed hi-fi prototype after low-fi approval, through intuitive interfaces and aesthetically appealing layouts.

Our development team created a robust telemedicine app catering to three different stakeholders, i.e., doctors, normal patients, corporate patients, admins, and super admins, featuring comprehensive functionalities for seamless healthcare services.


Patient can sign up using mobile number and can switch between corporate and general account using option in profile.

Easy Onboarding

Normal patients can easily login using with mobile number/email and OTP as a password.

Search Doctors

Search Doctors on basis of name, location, specialty, and Doctors lists.

Chat bot

System will ask predefined set of questions and user will input the required details based on Auto fill.

Map Doctors

System will match the symptoms with diseases and map the Doctors based on the diseases.

View Doctors

Normal patients can see all the doctors as per the business logics while corporate patients can see recommended corporate doctors.

Book Appointment

After opting for Doctor, user can book an appointment and select mode of consultation from: Audio, video, chat, and in-person.


Patients will be able to access doctor’s prescription on their medical record.

Book an Appointment

Patients can select a doctor, choose preferred date and time slot and book appointment seamlessly.


Patients can take video, voice, and chat consultation and join the audio/video room.

Appointment List

Patients can view past and upcoming appointments, consultation mode, date/time, status, etc.

Check Feeds

Here the patients will be able to see post from the doctors, my communities, like, share, comment and consult a Doctor.

View Records

The patients will be able to view, add, and delete all the uploaded & shared prescriptions records.

Emergency SOS

The patients will be able to see all records of available emergency options like (Ambulance, Emergency care).

Medicine Reminder

Patients can add medicine name, select from-to date and select frequency.

View Messages

The patient will be able to see all doctors in the chat thread list, view messages from previous and present consultations.


Patients can view news, browse through multiple news and share on social media.

Online Payment

Users can receive payment link by Doctor and can pay online through various payment gateways.


Doctors can easily register using mobile number and OTP.


Doctors can create public and private community, engage patients by posting informative health content.

Manage Appointments

Doctors can manage appointment slot by selecting start date and end date, duration, enabling/disabling in-between days.

Manage Consultancy Price

Doctors can set prices for in-person consultancy and video, audio, and chat consultancy depending on the time frames.

Check Appointments

Doctors can check new, past, upcoming and rejected appointments.


Doctors can start teleconsultancy (video/audio/chat) by entering the PIN, add a specialist in the call, share prescription, etc.

Patient History

Doctors can see patient list, view chats, and medical history.


Doctors can add, create a prescription once the consultancy is over or without any prior booking.

Manage Specialists

Doctors can view the specialists on the platform and add his/her personal contacts who are specialists.

Financial Information

Doctors can book payment history, generate daily report, payment links, check transactions made.

Phone Masking

Patients and doctors dial a virtual number, enter a PIN, and get automatically connected to their appointment.

Virtual Waiting Room

The doctor uses a virtual waiting room to share engaging content (audio, video, or documents) with patients.

Instant Connect

Doctor has an e-consultation link that doctor can share with patient and can connect with patient instantly without appointment.

Doctor Consult Doctor

Doctor can connect with other doctors as well for consultation via appointments.

Patient Feedback

Doctors can receive and view patient feedback and ratings after consultations to improve services and maintain quality care standards.


Admin can log in through email and password.


Admin can take an all-inclusive view of total no. of Doctors, patients, appointments, news, communities, and earnings.

Manage News

Admins can add, view, edit, delete, active/inactive news.

Manage Patients

Admins can add, view, edit, and delete active/inactive patient details.

Manage Doctors

Admins can add, view, edit, verify doctors and delete active/inactive doctor details.

Slot Management

Admins can add and save timings in the slot, edit/delete it.

Corporate Package Mgmt.

Admin can manage corporates as well as their packages by choosing consultancy type, adding employee limit, etc.

View Reports

Admin can check appointment reports and payment reports.

View Payments

Admin can view all transactions per Doctor.

View Earnings

Admin can view total earnings region wise (India and Indonesia).


This is multi lingual and multi-currency platform. The app supports Bahasa language for Indonesia along with English.


Admin can manage feeds, check reported users by doctor or patient, reply to users’ queries, and manage specialties in system.
