About Just Checking
Just Checking is an innovative activity monitoring system leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) designed to support individuals with dementia, learning difficulties, and other disabilities. The system is designed to help people remain in their homes longer by providing the right level of support based on their actual needs and routines. The core components of the system include wireless movement sensors, activity chart and objective assessments.
Just Roaming is a complementary real-time monitoring and alert system tailored specifically for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. It supports independent living within a supported environment by providing personalized care and helping to prioritize support needs through advanced monitoring.

Identifying the Client Needs
The rising number of individuals with dementia, learning difficulties, and other disabilities has increased the demand for effective care solutions. Traditional care methods often rely on subjective observations and assumptions, which may not accurately reflect the needs and abilities of the individuals. Sign up and login
Feature for the user to view activity charts that can be viewed from anywhere, anytime on any smartphone.
Wireless Movement Sensors
Discreet sensors placed around the property of the individual receiving care with monitoring period of 2-6 weeks.
Activity Chart
These sensors track movement and create a detailed chart of activity.
Activities Tracked
This track which rooms are/were visited and duration of stay in each room.
Usage of utilities
The sensors also track the usage of utilities such as kettles, taps, or the toilet.
Door Sensors
This tracks the incoming and outgoing time of the user from the threshold of the house.
Plug & Go-hub
The information from the sensors get transferred to the hub and uploads to the secured servers.
Real-time Notifications
Users can receive SMS and email notifications for any suspicious activity recorded like a door left open, property exits, etc.
Objective Assessments
The data collected helps care professionals make objective, evidence-based assessments over time.
Sign up and login
Users, caregivers, and authorized personnel can sign up and log in to access individual progress from any device, anywhere.
