About Emoski
Emoski is a mental health assistance mobile application that helps to reduce the symptoms of mental instability, such as anxiety, depression, etc. The app uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) best practices, meditation and mindfulness to improve overall mental health and wellness of teenagers. The app also helps in uplifting the mood of its users by enabling them to interact with the therapist in real-time. It also tracks the progress of the patient/user.

Identifying the Client Needs
In this semi-automated world, humans are losing touch with each other, which is driving them towards isolation and ultimately affecting their mental stability. According to a WHO report, 1 in every 8 people around the world is living with the most common disorder, like anxiety and depression.
To deal with such a globally prevailing issue, team Emoski planned to build a handy and instantly available mental health assistant for people to deal with any mental issue. The app was designed to extend convenience with mood-lifting activities at the user’s fingertips.
Client Goals
After figuring out this serious yet sensitive issue, they knew it requires some actions and a firm solution to reduce the stress that is negatively affecting the mental health. Therefore, to rule out anxiety, depression, and other mental illnesses, our client presented a well-conditioned and nurturing solution Emoski. The app is equipped with the following key functionalities to fulfill its agenda perfectly.

Mobile Visual Designs
Our UI/UX team developed hi-fi prototype after low-fi approval, through intuitive interfaces and aesthetically appealing layouts.
Development
Based on the high-fidelity prototype, the development team started working on the coding part of the application for both the stakeholders i.e. Patient Interface and CSI Interface. The developer’s incorporated varied features and functionalities that are listed below.

The patient can sign up/log in with an email id and password.

Patients can update profile details and specifics about their lifestyle.

Patients can search for therapists based on their specialty or by name as well.

Patients can perform or access available activities to lighten their mood and fight mental disturbance.

For any time assistance, the patient can subscribe to any of the available packages at their convenience.
In-App Chat
The patient can directly chat with the CSI member through text messages.
Sign Up/Log In
The CSI member can sign up/log in with an email id and password.
Manage Profile
The CSI member can update profile details and specialization.
Assign Activities
The CSI member can assign activities to the patient based on their shared details and experiences.
Prepare Action Plan
The CSI member prepared an action plan for the patient for a specific time period.

The CSI member can also track the progress of each patient based on their activities and performances.
