About the project
Raizfunds is an AI-powered fundraising and investor discovery platform that connects startups with relevant investors based on sector, stage, and readiness. It uses intelligent matching, startup scoring, and data-driven insights to streamline capital raising, improve investor alignment, and help founders approach fundraising with structure, clarity, and confidence.
Challenge
Startups often struggle to identify and connect with the right investors who align with their industry, stage, and growth potential. The fundraising process relies heavily on manual research, scattered tools, and cold outreach that often results in low response rates. Founders also lack clear visibility into their fundraising readiness and investor expectations, making it difficult to position themselves effectively. Existing solutions focus more on listings than intelligent matchmaking, leading to inefficiencies, wasted time, and missed funding opportunities- highlighting the need for a more structured, data-driven approach to fundraising.
Approach
Codiant’s product, design, and AI teams adopted a research-driven and product-first approach to develop Raizfunds, focusing on solving real fundraising challenges faced by startups. By analyzing founder journeys and investor behavior, we designed an AI-powered platform that enables intelligent matchmaking based on sector, stage, and readiness. We built a structured workflow that guides startups through assessment, discovery, and outreach, supported by startup scoring and data-driven insights. The platform was developed with a clean, intuitive interface and scalable architecture, ensuring seamless user experience while enabling founders to make smarter, faster, and more confident fundraising decisions.
Discovery phase
The discovery phase focused on defining core investment workflows, user personas, and decision-making patterns. Teams mapped key touchpoints across portfolio management and automation journeys. Early prototypes validated usability, while technical feasibility assessments ensured seamless AI integration and scalable system architecture from the outset.
Market Research
Global venture funding reached
$425-470 billion in 2025 across 24,000-30,000 deals, up 30% from 2024 and the third-largest year on record.
Q3 2025
VC funding alone was $97 billion, with AI at 46.4% and US share at 62%.
Private markets
Saw maturing trends into 2026, with dry powder declining but high capital availability for AI/tech/healthcare.
The Gap
The fundraising ecosystem lacked a structured, intelligent system that could truly connect the right startups with the right investors. Most platforms offered basic directories or networks, but failed to provide meaningful matching based on readiness, sector fit, and funding intent. Founders were left navigating unclear pathways, relying on guesswork instead of insights. There was no unified solution that combined discovery, evaluation, and outreach in one seamless experience creating a clear gap for a data-driven, AI-powered platform like Raizfunds.
