We are looking for a WordPress Developer who can manage the complete website development lifecycle, from understanding client requirements and planning website architecture to front-end development, back-end integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience as a WordPress Developer.

Desired Candidate Profile

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients and internal teams to understand website design and functional requirements.
• Design and build responsive and user-friendly website front ends.
• Plan and create scalable website architecture.
• Develop and manage the website back end, including database and server integrations.
• Create, customise, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Integrate third-party plugins, APIs, payment gateways, and business tools.
• Develop and customise WooCommerce websites and online stores.
• Conduct website functionality, compatibility, security, and performance tests.
• Troubleshoot website, plugin, theme, database, and content-related issues.
• Optimise websites for speed, responsiveness, accessibility, and search performance.
• Provide WordPress training and technical guidance to clients.
• Monitor live website performance and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and version-controlled code.

Profile Requisites:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and MVC architecture.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce and payment gateway integration.
• Familiarity with Git, SVN, Mercurial, or similar version-control tools.
• Experience using browser debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools.
• Good understanding of databases, server integration, website architecture, and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage projects, priorities, deadlines, and client requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
