We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer with strong expertise in Shopify theme development, Liquid templating, JavaScript APIs, responsive design, plugin integration, and ecommerce functionality. The candidate should be capable of managing medium- to high-complexity Shopify projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, customise, and maintain Shopify ecommerce stores.
• Create and modify Shopify themes based on design and business requirements.
• Build reusable and scalable templates using Shopify Liquid.
• Integrate and configure Shopify applications, plugins, and third-party services.
• Work with Shopify Storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections, and other JavaScript APIs.
• Convert UI designs into responsive, functional, and accessible Shopify pages.
• Customise product pages, collections, carts, navigation, checkout-related elements, and store sections.
• Test stores across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
• Identify and resolve theme, application, performance, and compatibility issues.
• Optimise Shopify stores for speed, usability, responsiveness, and conversions.
• Follow web standards, semantic coding practices, and accessibility guidelines.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, marketers, and quality assurance teams.
• Maintain clean, reusable, and properly documented code.

Profile Requisites:

• Strong knowledge of the Shopify platform and ecommerce development.
• Expert-level understanding of Shopify Liquid.
• Experience working on multiple medium- to high-complexity Shopify projects.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ECMAScript 5/6, and jQuery.
• Practical experience with Shopify JavaScript APIs.
• Experience in theme installation, customisation, and plugin integration.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques.
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, testing, and debugging.
• Understanding of W3C standards, semantic development, and accessibility guidelines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand requirements and deliver work within agreed timelines.
